Basic -> Status Shows the number of emails received and statistics on how they were processed. Typically, a Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall will block, quarantine, or tag between 85% and 90% of all incoming SMTP connections. |

The Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall has a pretty straight-forward setup and is incredibly effective. Since implementing Oct 20, 2009, it has blocked 1.64 million spam/viruses with no false positives. Because it is an appliance, it sits outside our internal network and the spam/virus emails never even enter the network. This has reduced the load on our firewalls. Users have commented on much less spam leaking through to their inboxes, and report that Exchange is more responsive (less load on the server than Symantec Brightmail). Great product!
