Data Theft Protection
Common vulnerabilities in Web applications often lead to data leakage of secure information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers. Barracuda Web Application Firewalls provide full protection from theft of confidential data by scanning outgoing data against either built-in policies for common data types (including credit card and social security numbers) or against custom policies defined through regular expressions. Policy actions against data theft include partial masking of the confidential data, full masking of the confidential data, or complete blocking of the Web session altogether.
